Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)

The Australian Government's Department of Home Affairs requires all international students applying for a student visa to have Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the entire duration of their student visa. OSHC is offered by a number of providers, and you can obtain OSHC from the provider of your choice.

UWA CELT is happy to arrange your Comprehensive OSHC on your behalf through our partnership with Medibank

For more information on OSHC please visit OSHC page on the UWA students website

*Please note: If you are applying for the Bridging Course as your English entry package into a UWA degree program, your OSHC, if nominated will be organised as part of your UWA full degree application and not via UWA CELT.

Overseas Visitors Health Cover (OVHC)

UWA CELT recommends that all students arriving on a Tourist or Working Holiday visa arrange their own health insurance prior to travel.
