CELT offers preparation courses for the internationally recognised Cambridge examinations.
There are three Cambridge terms each year with examinations in March, June and December. CELT prepares students for
A lower intermediate level test which aims to develop skills needed to cope in social and work situations.
The PET examination consists of four papers: Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking.
This is an upper-intermediate level examination. A pass in this improves the student's chances of gaining work in many countries throughout the world. It is accepted by some tertiary vocational education institutions as proof of English language ability.
The FCE examination consists of five papers: Reading, Writing, Use of English, Listening and Speaking.
Students intending to enrol in a FCE are required to take a pre-entry test. This test is administered free of charge either at CELT or through one of our authorised agents. If you wish to take a pre-entry test please contact our Enrolments Officer.
This is an advanced level examination which, like FCE, improves the student's chances of gaining work throughout the world. It is accepted by most universities and colleges as evidence of English language ability.

This is an upper-intermediate level examination with a focus on testing the student's competency in realistic business situations.
The BEC Vantage comprises four papers: Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. Preparation for this examination is also included in the core Business English class.
